We've also had trouble with discs that have been named in the original burning process. When these are read on a Mac, they are unable to be unmounted. We're working around this at present by archiving them on a Windows installation, where the unmounting is not an issue. However, from an archival perspective, are we also preserving the disk name? How can we be sure about this? Anyway, this is not an urgent issue, particularly if we manage to use the PC/Windows work-around for now. However, the issue needs to be addressed for successful Mac use.
