Problem with installation in ubuntu

$ sudo apt-get install libconfig8 libcurl4-openssl-dev libgsl0ldbl libxml2 zlib1g

However the following packages replace it:
libgsl2 libgsl2:i386

Looks like the required dependencies (old ones) aren't able to fit into the new ubuntu system. Is that the case?
