It would be geat if you open a similar issue in https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-cpp-contrib/tree/main. So, if they build is published there, we can take the binaries and build the container image.

Tracked as open-telemetry/opentelemetry-cpp-contrib#332 upstream. In the meantime, I've built a multi-platform image (ghcr.io/pl4nty/otel-operator-autoinstrumentation-apache-httpd) and it's been stable for a few months with httpd and nginx

Any update on this? I see this PR: open-telemetry/opentelemetry-cpp-contrib#400 but it seems a little stale. I'm currently trying to autoinstrument an nginx server locally on an M1 mac and keep running into the platform issue
