TCG SSC ...

  • Core (needed)
  • Core: Secure Messaging
  • Enterprise
  • Opal 1.x
  • Opal 2.0
  • Opalite
  • Pyrite 1.x
  • Pyrite 2.x
  • Ruby
  • Optical

Extra Features:

My vote is for Opal 2.0 initially - and if I can get my hands on a Ruby drive I might want to implement that as well. Enterprise and the others could be interesting for some users, but I think I would need to have people contribute those as I do not have hardware to test.

Drives that I have found that implements some standards:

  • Secure Messaging
    • Seagate 7E8 V.5, Exos X14/X16 SATA / SAS (SATA, e.g. ST3000NM004A) (SAS, e.g. ST14000NM012G)
    • pysed seems to support it.
    • ST10000NM0608 has been ordered
  • Ruby
