No longer able to load models after latest update

After the latest updates, I can no longer load GGUF models (the only ones I use).

I had a similar problem and it was the new ooba not loading the assistant or any character by default, select a character then try using the model menu.
TBH this whole update is fubar, its like they didn't test it or something. It might be worth using a prior version if you still can.

I also think you have the same problem with no character loaded first, try that.

Thank you, while not completely fixing the problem, the model(s) at least started to load, but in the end it aborted in another error message.
I guess I have to wait until they fix it up.
