Firstcomers don't have the Sapphire/Emerald Testnet RPC endpoints installed in their Metamask. A message saying sth like "Don't have a Testnet network in your wallet yet? Check out the instructions to add the RPC endpoint here" and a link to https://docs.oasis.io/dapp/sapphire/network.

I would directly put the "add to metamask" button on the faucet page.
