Multiple destinations/paths for intermediate and temp files

Describe the enhancement you'd like

I'd like to be able to add multiple paths for intermediate and temp-files, which get used one after each other, in case the first runs full. Simple priority and a comma-separated list would do perfectly fine. It's useful if one has a ram disk for such files, but some downloads need more space than available there.
