Description

Can we use DNS-based identities to do anything other than mapping a Nostr key to it?

What is the common praxis today? And what are the implications?

At best you prove that you own a domain, but more likely it only means that you filled out a form somewhere and maybe paid a little fee.

I would like to talk about chaining the identities and identity providers into another layer of trust on Nostr.

You don't have to read anything, but if you are really eager please look at NIP-05 and NIP-85 proposal.

About the Speaker

I'm your average Nostr user posting memes, and pictures of food, whom sometimes likes to dig a little deeper, read the NIPs, and think about how to make Nostr even better. My idea might be ludicrous, but I'm always focused on the freedom of individuals.
I'm not affiliated with any big Nostr projects.
