StudyCrew Code of Conduct

StudyCrew is dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all contributors. We value the participation of every individual and want everyone to have a positive and respectful experience. As such, we have established this Code of Conduct to outline our expectations for behavior within our community.

Expected Behavior

  • Respectful and Inclusive Language: Be respectful and considerate in your communication. Refrain from any form of discrimination, harassment, or offensive language related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, etc.

  • Collaborative Environment: Foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. Encourage and welcome contributions from all individuals regardless of their level of expertise.

  • Constructive Feedback: Provide constructive feedback and criticism while maintaining a respectful tone. Value and consider the opinions and ideas of others.

  • Be Considerate: Be mindful of others' time, opinions, and efforts. Refrain from disruptive behavior or trolling that may negatively impact the community.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment and Discrimination: Harassment or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to offensive comments, intimidation, or unwelcome advances.

  • Trolling and Disrespectful Behavior: Disrespectful, offensive, or trolling comments or behavior are not acceptable and will be addressed accordingly.

  • Any Form of Hate Speech: Use of hateful language, slurs, or promoting hate speech against any individual or group will not be tolerated.

Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it by contacting the project maintainers or moderators listed in the repository. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.

Enforcement

Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in temporary or permanent expulsion from the community, as determined by the project maintainers. We are committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all contributors.
