CFDE Announcements

Cross-Pollination Meeting

Our next scheduled meeting will take place August 2nd at 2pm ET / 11am PT. We will not be holding a July meeting. The August agenda includes presentations from exRNA and SenNet. Regular Cross-Pollination events take place on the first Tuesday of every month. View the Cross-Pollination Schedule for more details. Email [email protected] if you would like to present.

Content Generation Sprints

The CFDE-CC hosted the first Content Generation Sprint last week. The purpose of these sprints is to produce annotations for genes, anatomy terms, compounds, and diseases in the CFDE Search Portal. The product of this sprint can be viewed at https://github.com/nih-cfde/update-content-registry. The second will take place August 8 - 12. Please indicate your interest and availability here.

A new version of CFDE Training and Engagement site was released on June 30. This release incorporates three new lessons (CFDE Portal Use Case: Human Microbiome Project, Introduction to UNIX for Cloud Computing, and Introduction to R for RNA Sequencing) and video recordings from recent workshops. More details are available in the Release Notes and the GitHub Release.
