Allow adding/removing Plugins/Threads/Groups/Transfers/Channels once created

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Say you create a configuration with some threads, groups and multiple transfers and channels. You export the configuration to .dsf file to save your work. After a while, you decide that you'd like to add one extra channel. From what I can see, the UI does not allow modifying the configuration to add/remove components, which means you'd need to create the entire configuration from scratch!

Describe the solution you'd like
I image we'd add right click-menus in the future to add components as needed (i.e, from Transfer, right click to add channel). In the shorter term it would be really helpful if at least we could have an Edit button on the DSF home page that would load the existing elements and we could navigate through the arrays to modify as needed.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Having to manually modify the json file externally and then Import.

When I used the DSF before it was published in github, @ryanpoulos had shared a LabVIEW tool I could use to configure the groups/transfers/channels to then export the .dsf file. Later I could import this from VeriStand. From this tool I could add/remove elements as needed.

Is this type of tool still available somewhere inside the installed LLBs by DSF? Any concern with this alternative approach to configure the elements?
