I have the same problem, I cannot update to the last version because it crashes with the same error. Don't know how to solve it... |

sorry for pinging you @nilsding (I saw you are active at this repo). Could you please have a look at this bug. We have this bug since months. I know, only a "few" people using Linux but please fix this issue asap |
@max-hammer can you try to run the 3.16.0-rc1 AppImage? we changed the build environment from ubuntu22 to alma8 recently: https://download.nextcloud.com/desktop/prereleases/Linux/ if that still doesn’t work, please post some logs |
This may be mostly coming up in older environments (e.g. Ubuntu 20.04 and those derived from it). Even after #4840, the AppImage is supposed to continue to work in select older environments was my understanding. I haven't looked at the build process lately but I believe there are two basic choices to support older environments:
