Copying a point so that it links up with another point is a bit tedious.
Right now I have to copy the text, paste it into the counterpoint flow, click Review suggestions, and then select the existing point
image

4.a. there neednt be a Review suggestions button, since editing is impossible
4.b. Negate button should instead say Link, and it should be the default

is #69 your proposed solution?

4.a. there neednt be a Review suggestions button, since editing is impossible

the review suggestions button is important to handle missclicks. if the user did not intend to reuse a point and wants to go back to his previous point, he can click it (going back to where you came from is an intuitive way of undoing)

Negate button should instead say Link, and it should be the default

The term "Link" is more confusing. Wouldn't be clear what it does.
Negating is adding a Negation, so Negate seems like the correct description of that action

We should be consistent with the terminology
