make sure WiFi is disabled, not configured or not available
unplug the Ethernet cable
boot the device
-> balenaCloud will list your device as "offline with heartbeat" or something like that
now connect the Ethernet cable
wait a minute or two
-> balenaCloud will eventually list your device as online at some point
-> the gateway service ("main") is also listed as "Running"
YET, the gateway is not really operational. The TTN console lists it as disconnected.
To recover you need to manually restart the gateway service through the balenaCloud dashboard. It have not tested but I suspect the exact same thing will happen if the device looses internet connection temporarily while being up.

How to reproduce (I was testing with a Pi 4)
