New Update v.1.3.0 🚀

Hey there! I'm excited to share the new v.1.3.0 version of Saguenay with you. It’s packed with improvements and fresh features to make everything smoother and more enjoyable for you. 🎉

What's New 🎉:

This update brings some big changes! First up, authentication is now available. You can create an account or log in securely to personalize your experience and access exclusive features. Right now, you can sign up or log in using GitHub OAuth 2.0, which makes things quick and safe if you already have a GitHub account.

I’ve also introduced an exciting new feature: AI-powered text generation. This makes creating posts faster and more convenient. Plus, Saguenay doesn’t collect your data to train the AI, ensuring your privacy is fully respected!

The profile page is another new addition. While it’s still a work in progress, it’s shaping up to be your personal space to customize, display your info, and connect with others.

The server has been relocated from Washington, USA, to Paris, France. This means your data is now stored 100% in Paris, France, ensuring better compliance with European data privacy regulations.

To make things official, I’ve included a license (GNU General Public License v3.0), so you know where things stand regarding usage and transparency. On top of that, I’ve tweaked a few existing pages to make them look better and work more smoothly.

If you’re into music, here’s some good news: you can now publish songs, albums, and playlists via Spotify. It’s a great way to share your favorite tunes or explore new ones from others.

I’ve also added hashtags to the mix, making it easier to organize and discover posts.

Additionally, the status page is now available, providing real-time updates about the platform. It includes detailed information about any incidents affecting the site or server.

Lastly, I’ve worked on improving Google indexing so your content gets better visibility in search results. This will help more people discover your posts and connect with your content.

I’ve tackled some annoying bugs on the profile page. Those issues that made navigating or displaying things tricky? They’re gone now, so your experience should be way smoother.

There are still a few things in progress. For instance, the post-saving page isn’t ready just yet, but it’s coming soon.

The search bar is visible but not functional yet—don’t worry, I’m actively working on making it fast and effective.

I’m also making progress on the French and Spanish translations, so the project will soon be accessible to even more people.

Soon, you will be able to post images, videos, and even share a location using a Google Maps (but not your real-time location). Rest assured, Saguenay does not collect and will never collect your location, nor your location on Google Maps, ensuring your privacy is protected.

Many exciting things are coming soon! Soon, you’ll be able to publish songs, albums, and playlists via Deezer, giving you another option alongside Spotify.

I’m also adding a feature to view posts with specific hashtags, so you can easily find content that matches your interests and connect with others who share them.
