Changing to a custom font doesn't work reliably #18032
Comments
Here is a video demonstrating the issue: https://streamable.com/81sj2v |
Other applications don't have a problem accessing them
Where can I do that?
It's already the newest one that winget has available. I also tried to downgrade without luck. |
same issue +1 |
I apologize for the misunderstanding - we had multiple duplicates of the other issue come in over the last few days. I missed that you modified the settings.json file as well. |
I have same issue with 1.22.240926002-preview |
I have the same issue on windows 11 with 1.21.2701.0 |
I have the same issue , I need Nerd font |
Also experiencing the same issue. Curiously the issue fixes itself if I simply open Settings i.e. the missing font error stops popping up and the font starts working in new Terminal tabs. |
Windows Terminal version
1.21.2701.0
Windows build number
10.0.22631.4317
Other Software
No response
Steps to reproduce
Expected Behavior
I expect the font to be changed
Actual Behavior
Windows Temrinal claims in cannot find the font when pressing the save button. This also happens if I change the font directly in the JSON, as soon as the config file is saved Terminal says it cannot find the font.
Although, after I trigger something (I did not find out yet what it is, maybe it's just randomly, it suddenly works until i restart terminal again)
