Installer latest version is stuck at 1.9.8

Terraform installer using the “latest” option is still installing v1.9.8 when v1.10.0 was released 27/11/2024 which was 4 days ago

we use this url to find the version:
https://checkpoint-api.hashicorp.com/v1/check/terraform

and it states 1.9.8 as latest version.
I would use 1.10 as specified version instead of latest if you need 1.10 now. hopefully hashicorp will update the checkpoint api soon.

Would it not be possible to use https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform/releases/latest or better still a check to see which is higher?

Hashicorp aren't great at updating that api which caused issues with maintaining the chocolatey package for terraform so that had to be modified to use the GitHub release
