We have been misusing string_serialization as if it were structured_pattern

Some of this is inherited from MIxS

We can see what slots have a string_serialization by generating and looking at local/usage_template.tsv

string_serializations may be acted upon with yq commands in the submission-schema project.Makefile

priorities:

• move the string_serializations asserted in nmdc-schema into some other slots, adn then modify the yq commands
• then deal with the string_serializations in MIxS as part of out overall migration to using a MIxS release from GSC, as opposed to the NMDC frozen MIxS
  • change nmdc-schema's MIxS import to GSC's 6.2 YAML #1368
