What specific section or headline is this issue about?

https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/::placeholder#opaque_text

What information was incorrect, unhelpful, or incomplete?

Some of the content in the article about Firefox setting an opacity for placeholders is outdated. Gecko (Firefox) now uses color rather than opacity for ::placeholder.

What did you expect to see?

Updated Opaque text example regarding the outdated usage of opacity in Firefox. Maybe something like this?

### Opaque text

- Some browsers (such as Firefox) set the default {{cssxref("opacity")}} of placeholders to something less than 100%. If you want fully opaque placeholder text, set `opacity` to `1`.
+ Some browsers (such as Firefox) use the same {{cssxref("color")}} for the input text and the placeholder, and just make the latter a bit transparent. If you want fully opaque placeholder text, set `color` to a different value such as `#757575`.

I can't think of something for the rest of the example... (HTML, CSS, and Result sections).

Do you have any supporting links, references, or citations?

Do you have anything more you want to share?
