What would you like to be added?

Please, change filenames to .md because of https://publish.obsidian.md/tasks/Getting+Started/Getting+Started#Supported+file+names

Why is this needed?

Tasks is a mainstream plugin bringing the possibility to organize tasks.
It would be grateful if your plugin and Tasks work together.

Use case:

I as a user can decompose every task into steps and plan them in the manner of Tasks

The user is unable to query tasks within .mw files using Dataview, and this distinction significantly impacts the user experience. It is hoped that Dataview will support querying tasks within these files.

It could be done with just renaming MarkWhen files from .mw to .md

This would be a great feature as it would enable the planning of all the tasks within just one calendar, while being able to view the tasks depending on the urgency or different kinds of queries as needed

I am not sure if I understand this issue, but I would like to piggyback on the "Tasks plugin" topic & state my desire.

Wouldn't it be nice if the timelines could be generated based on the Tasks syntax & Tasks plugin output? Tasks plugin already has start/end tags & subtasks can be easily handled through lists.
