[Feature request] Add option to run system backups before updates #468

It would be useful to add an option in the Updates preferences to automate creating a system backup before installing updates.

When enabled, the user would add the path to an executable script to create the backup
Additionally add an option to either proceed or not with the updates in case the backup failed
