This is not on the critical path, but it would be nice to have user-facing documentation, i.e. for end-users, not developers.

It would be nice if developers could offer a setting in their apps for where to store app data and tell their users this is a "Madata URL" with a link to that document. The document would briefly explain the purpose of Madata in simple terms, and contain a list of supported backends and their URLs.

That would require having the supported URLs in a structured format; not sure what that would look like 🤔
