There was an issue in the framework's issue tracker that had alluded to the minimal hello world example on the wiki's main page being not sufficiently simply explained in terms on how to actually execute it.

I suggested a small change to one sentence of that part on discord, but there was no one there to actually implement it, that would have had rights to edit that page.

The change was this, additions in bold+italics:

This is the full source for 'hello world' in LÖVE. Running this code after being saved as "main.lua", then passing the containing folder to the application will cause an 800 by 600 window to appear, and display white text on a black background.

I'd like to ask for consideration that rights to edit the main page of the wiki would be granted to some more-active, trusted people that could deal with these kinds of situations faster, and decide whether edits are to be done, or not.
(I'd suggest Slime at least as a stopgap measure, but he's most likely already busy with coding already...)
