Samba needs to be installed, appropriate firewall rules need to be added and your user account needs to join the 'sambashare' group.

  1. Install samba.
  2. sudo usermod -G sambashare -a $USER
  3. Restart computer.

Oh, the sambashare group does not exist.

Create the /etc/samba/smb.conf file.
