Hello!

Judging from commit 06db34b I guess this is expected to work, however in practice uboot 2022.10 (from ubuntu-22.10-preinstalled-desktop-arm64+roc-rk3399-pc.img.xz image) on LibreTech roc-rk3399-pc doesn't detect anything on USB Type-C ports.

Tested Belking Express Dock 3.1 HD, Dell WD15, HP G2 Thunderbolt Docking Station (which is also compatible with USB-only devices) and simple Type-C to HDMI cable.

USB Type-C is not suppose to work in u-boot. u-boot has no DisplayPort Alt-Mode support.

But at least storage devices and USB hubs (docks) should be detected, right?

Try flashing the latest bootloader. We have just done an update cycle for this board.

I tried last image but uboot doesn't show anything on display. I understand that I could use serial to check Type-C support, but my unit is assembled, and I would like to avoid disassembling it. So I would be able to check Type-C support status when display output work in future uboot builds.
