I have reinstalled Brotil and upgraded supporting packages.

rebooted and the problem persists. I suspect but don't know if Brotil is being intergrated with theHarvester... can you assist.
The app seems to gather all other data ie emails, asns, interesting urls, ip's and hosts

I also get the following:
[*] Searching Duckduckgo.
Searching 0 results.
An exception has occurred: 400, message:
Can not decode content-encoding: br
Searching 30 results.
An exception occurred while parsing criminalip result: 'country'
Dumping json:
{'status': 200, 'message': 'api success', 'data': {'certificates': [{'certificate_life': '2 Months', 'issuer': 'R11', 'protocol': 'TLS 1.3', 'subject': 'webmail.warri

Followed by a couple hundred lines of output. These I can copy and paste import into a text viewer and search for items of interest.
