In #871 external SSD is added so the total amount of disk space is now 1.5TB, of which 550GB is available as of now. With more data-demanding projects going on I need far more better solution to the disk space addition.

For now I have SD card slots (standard, micro) free, via a USB hub. Not sure how awful/some the transfer rate is, don't just use it for fast usecases. Ordering 1.5TB micro SD card.

Actually, reconsidering the disk space amount as SD card based on the flash memory is not meant to be long-term storage, looking at the same Sandisk products:

• 512GB/$37.99 = 13.8GB/$
• 1TB/$79 = 12.7GB/$
• 1.5TB/$109 = 13.8GB/$

Actually 1.5GB is not bad cost efficiency-wise. Stick to it.
