2024

  • papa c13-morph, brya, kukui
  • kid1 zork16
  • kid2 None. Borrowing one when needed.

In 2025 kid2 benefits from having a dedicated laptop. Consequence of each computer kid2 gets:

  • kukui: papa would need a tablet for reading/pen writing. Kid2 cannot play high RAM eater e.g. Minecraft.
  • c13-morph: papa may need a make-up laptop at the bedside (where kukui, which is too weak as a working laptop, also sits currently).
  • brya: Not sufficient for kid2's usecase e.g. Let's Play Music app can't be installed for some reason while it can be on c13 devices.
  • Maybe another ChromeOS laptop with ample RAM. Kid2 doesn't need a Trackpoint, which limits to Lenovo only, but if that req is lifted then we'll get many more options.

Btw b/w Android and ChromeOS, running Linux is much more common https://www.androidauthority.com/android-linux-terminal-app-3489887/ This lets me committed with only ChromeOS.
