I just tried the StarFitter example at http://ubret.s3.amazonaws.com/dotastro4/index.html with latest Chrome on OS X.

Going to the URL I first see this: http://snag.gy/I6y4W.jpg
Then after clicking on a star I see this: http://snag.gy/P1jNo.jpg

Issue 1: Why do you first show a very small image, then later a very large image. Could you always show a medium-sized image that makes it easy to click a star and fits on a normal computer screen?

Issue 2: Note that only the lower left part of the image is drawn (this happens only sometimes).

Issue 3: The fit doesn't seem to have converged (centroid doesn't match), it would be nice to indicate this to the user.

Would be nice: You could also make the page nicer by adding the info what this page is about already to the first page, add a link back to github for people that want to check out the code, label the three cutout image (I assume it's data, model and residual?) and make them a bit larger and add a marker to the full image so that it is clear which star was fit after moving the mouse.

Thanks for making this cool example web app!
