How reliable Is JuiceFS

When searching Internet, I come across to JuiceFS. There seems a lot of good words about it, but find little info about its reliability.
For those who use Juicefs a lot, how is your experience with its reliability? I see Juicefs use Redis for meta storage. To me, it is risky and scary since Redis is known as a cache database, which assume your data can be gone anytime. Will a juicefs survive after meta data lost?

I am digging further and find this (https://juicefs.com/docs/cloud/guide/compatibility-format/) Could I assume if the metadata lost, I can recover data from import/rync?
