Calendar / task support?

Hi guys, love this little tool and its simplicity.
Just wondering if you have any thoughts or made any decision on task/todo or calendar support? Is it completely outside the scope of what jrnl is intended for?

I could see this being really useful with a calendar export or sync, to be able to quickly jot meetings and TODOs in to jrnl entries that would sync with your phone via CALDAV for example.
