Recording clipboard history not working on Linux?

After initial install of ScriptKit using the publicly available AppImage. I tried to use the Clipboard History script (which I think is the built-in one?), but it always seems to be empty. Not sure how to best check that accessibility settings are properly enabled. I also saw mention of a watcher that needs to be started, but I have no idea how to do that or if that's already running.
