There's no option to activate/deactivate notifications. The app is even not recognized for notifications in the system-settings.

I don't know how system wide menu for notifications should work. Global switch to enable/disable all notification is doable.

I'm not familiar with this, too, but when you ask in the forum, I'm pretty sure someone will help you out with this.
