In the project https://github.com/ota4j-team/opentest4j authors of test libraries tries to create a unfied lib of exceptions and util classes. Please take a look if you need to change something to be complient.

@jkschneider , WDYT of moving java-power-assert under an umbrella organization to come up with a set of annotations and conventions to configure power-assert-like behavior for JVM? (e.g. https://github.com/argument-expression-4j-team)

I guess it might be fun to use the same convention (e.g. annotations, configuration language) for both java-power-assert, and kotlin-power-assert.
Then the annotation processors won't need to hard-code library specifics, and the users could get improved behaviour in their tests/apps.
