I have Snakeviz working in a notebook when jupyter-lab is run on the local machine. However, if I run jupyter-lab on a remote server and access the notebooks in the local browser via port forwarding, it doesn't work.
In Firefox, the Snakeviz output on the remote server displays a blank gray square with the options "Go Back (recommended)" and "Advanced". Clicking on either button does nothing.
Is there any workaround for this? If so, is there any way to detect this condition and suggest said workaround to the user in the form of an error or warning, with some suggested syntax? Getting Snakeviz to output a useful static PNG/SVG might suffice.
