"Button hold" for the sensors? #154
Comments
Hello, normally there has to be a link in Free@home from the switch to the light. Then the switch will produce messages that the integration can intercept. So a button that is not linked to anything will not work. Maybe the free@home - local rest api is an option for connecting the switch to a dimmable light in HA. |
That's basically true if you're talking about permanently installed lamps etc. But I also have switches that I have connected to a Philips Hue integration. You can dim etc. with the native integration. However, I would prefer to move everything to HA and configure the Zigbee devices there myself. For automations, I am only offered the buttons with on or off as triggers. With "hold" you could also manage dimmers for 3rd party devices in HA. |
Hello, Thanks! |
Is there a way to get "button hold" & "button hold release" events from the sensors?
I'd like to control dimmable lights available in HA via F@H buttons. Turning them on/off works very well, thank you.
