Long term goals:
- implement a network game
- rewrite XML loading
- rewrite the engine to use only standard libraries and custom math
helpers, so that the game backend is indepedent of Qt and potentially
usable with other gui frameworks as well.
- have the model loaded in GPU only once and let multiple instances
of CBaseModel simply link to it.
- implement a class to manage game's configuration
maths.h:
- implement SMatrix4D and SQuaternion
CCreditsLabel.h:
- this class is maybe unnecessary. Maybe setting and object name on the
credits label object would suffice.
CSceneBrowser.h, CSelectionBox.h:
- maybe merge these classes to one, or make CSelectionBox a base class for
CSceneBrowser or something like that.
CScene.h, CScene.cpp:
- move the XML loading code into a separate class named for example
CFileLoader. The CFileLoader class could then load/save other file types
like scene list or score list, too.
CScene would only manage models, calculate intersection of mouse with model
and shuffle textures of models.
- the positions of elements in an XML file are assumed to be fixed - repair this
CPexesoScene.h, CPexesoScene.cpp:
- rewrite findOptimalDistanceFromCamera()
- maybe move zooming to trackball
