The Recurse Center itself should be on the map, as should various other points of interest, including perhaps the previous locations of RC, !!Con locations, and partner venues like AppNexus. Locations listed in the calendar might be another source of inspiration (is there an API for those?).

(Counterpoint: maybe World of Recurse should be about the people, and this is out of scope? Please feel free to close this as "won't fix" if it doesn't match your vision for the project!)

I hadn't thought about adding points-of-interest, but I definitely think adding RC to the map makes sense.

Adding other points-of-interest is a bit more murky for me, though I'm open to the idea. Taking a look at the locations in the RC calendar, I'm not sure it's the best source. There are duplicates, and although there are more "official" RC-affiliated places, like AppNexus and the rooms within RC, there are also a bunch of bars, restaurants, etc. where past events have been held. Additionally, this list would change as RC's partnerships change; for example, localhost hasn't been held at AppNexus for a while now, as I think their sponsorship may have changed this summer.

I'm willing to leave this open, especially to track adding RC to the map.
