Install ArgoCD

helm repo add argo https://argoproj.github.io/argo-helm
helm upgrade --atomic --install  --namespace argocd --create-namespace -f argo-cd/argocd-values.yaml argocd argo/argo-cd

After reaching the UI the first time you can login with username: admin and the random password generated during the installation. You can find the password by running:

kubectl -n argocd get secret argocd-initial-admin-secret -o jsonpath="{.data.password}" | base64 -d

Install Argo Rollout

helm upgrade --atomic --install --namespace argocd argo-rollouts argo/argo-rollouts

Add application CRD

kubectl create -f argo-cd/application-helm.yaml

AutoSync is disabled as a result applications status is OutOfSync. Check DIFF in UI

Show deploied resources in namespace

kubectl get all

Sync Show helth statuses show resources show logs for pods show events for pods

Show trafic flow (Network)

Update image tag

Show DIFF Sinc only one component Show new ReplicaSet Switch to network flow show pop-up versions

Resume deployment usin UI

CLI Plugin

Show rollout status using CLI

kubectl argo rollouts get rollout bluegreen-demo

Promote deployment using CLI

kubectl argo rollouts promote bluegreen-demo

Roll back

Show images gui and cli
