Yarpgen sometimes generates empty initializer lists, which are not allowed in strict C99.
yarpgen --seed=64 generates in driver.c:
tf_4_struct_2 tf_4_array_2 [4] = {{} , {} , {} , {} };

Looks like we need to differentiate between c99 and gnu99 dialects.
What is the practical use of strict C99? I.e. what compiler is tested and with what options?
