Based on a discussion with (@bramdhondt ) on the 21st of June, the following changes are required:

  • observations will become a third tab under distribution.
  • information on species trends will be added (TRIAS grafieken). How should these statistics be interpreted and on which data are these calculated? Only on data within Riparias area or more broader (i.e. Belgium) ?
  • level of invasion will become a fourth tab under distribution.
  • management should be replaced with info based on iAsset data (in contact with Lien for this). Maybe a good idea to start with a simple map with locations where management is performed?
  • update site-level-monitoring for plants based on provided data by partners
  • remove site-level-monitoring for crayfish as there are too few locations where management is performed on crayfish. Replace by a table?
  • grafieken interactief maken met ggplotly
  • Foto's toevoegen van soorten en per soort laten verschijnen onder de kaart.

@jrhillae , as to provide some feedback

This should be the RIPARIAS area. However, before embarking on this, it should be investigated how much time would be needed to code this. If a lot, then maybe not worthwhile doing it. If not a lot, it would be of added value.

management should be replaced with info based on iAsset data (in contact with Lien for this). Maybe a good idea to start with a simple map with locations where management is performed?

Yes, a simple map would be a good start. All details on management are conspicuously absent for now. The project has proceeded well beyond the starting phase by now, so I would consider the inclusion of management data the priority.

remove site-level-monitoring for crayfish as there are too few locations where management is performed on crayfish. Replace by a table?

Remove. (I don't see numbers fit for visualisation from this table. Let me know if you have a different suggestion. [I don't know what table you are referring to.])

Foto's toevoegen van soorten en per soort laten verschijnen onder de kaart.

Related to this, I welcome the four pictures on the landing page, but noted that they seem quite large (they load slowly). So maybe good to opt for lower-quality versions of them.
