Based on email conversations with Etienne:

1/ Yearly evolution of the number of observations per river basin both for emerging and widespread species (= KPI)
Maybe 3 separate graphs : 1/ alert list species, 2/ emerging EU listed species and 3/ widespread EU listed species

2/ Rate of increase of surveillance at RSU scale (# yearly observation records) in comparing baseline period (2000-2015) with enhanced surveillance period (2021-2022) => to be visualised through a dedicated map to identify potential surveillance gaps.
-> Comparing surveillance between two maps: one baseline and one current state? Maybe a map considering as an indicator the ratio between the # yearly observation records from 2021 onwards divided by the #yearly observations records between 2000 and 2015 (= baseline) for each RSU. With a colour gradient from red to green depending on the ratio (red when more observations/year during the baseline period).

Maybe interesting to make also the distinction between priority RSUs and non-priority RSUs for surveillance from the surveillance plan?
