Figure out the placement of the third switch: probably on the bottom of the battery case.

Here's the placement of the actual keyer switches:

This is resolved with the addition of the keyer programming button as shown in
https://copaseticflow.blogspot.com/2022/12/new-rockmite-programming-switch.html
the switch is now permanently installed with superglue, and working great.
