Probably using the existing two mounting holes, move the breaker board inside the RockMite enclosure. Simply notch the side of the box to bring in the connector. Maybe slide the mounting holes over a bit to make the connector flush with the outside.

Bring brush pens to outline connector. Use hacksaw to cut slots in upper sidewall of box opposite the BNC connector. Fold over the resulting metal tab to make room for RJ45 connector. Use larger nylon spacers to avoid having to cut the lid as well.

Initial prototype is complete. Tin shears were awesome!

Completed second prototype using all matching nylon spacers. Went from this

The slightly unscrewed screw is intentional. The corner holes do not match, and so the slop allows the board to be installed without drilling new holes.

The RJ45 jack is now sitting lower making it easier to get the cable in and out.

To do: drill two more holes for the opposing corner mounts for stability on cable in/out.

The connector continues to have issues on the inside of teh box. At the moment it is taped in because the nylon bolts sheer when there are only 2 of them.
