Feature request: Groups

Is it possible to add an option to create groups with different peers to receive files or messages simultaneously?

It's currently not possible and would require a lot of work to implement. We would need to sync the group state between all peers, handle sending to offline peers, find a suitable way to share files, manage peer roles in the group etc.
I don't think I'll start working on it right away.
