freehdl segfault after patching

The latest patches let it compile, but now there is segfault showing up.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post here, but I recently got FreeHDL working after more than 2 years of segfaulting. So now I just search for every mention of FreeHDL segfault on the Internet, and post a comment in the hope that my patches will also be useful for other people.
I uploaded my patches and build scripts to several bug trackers for different distros: Launchpad for Ubuntu, Gentoo Bugzilla, ArchLinux Flyspray. I also wrote a step-by-step scenario to build the package for Debian-based distros on LinuxMint forum.
So in case the segfault you encountered happens to be related to the issues I reported, I hope this message will be helpful.
