Today, releasing a new version of jwskate involves a lot of manual steps. I am not yet familiar enough with GitHub Actions to fix that myself. If someone can do that for me, I would appreciate it.

Things that should be improved/automated:

  • Better way to manage bumping patch/minor/major versions, both in pyproject.toml, git tag and github release
  • writing the CHANGELOG file and/or release notes based on PRs
  • updating the AUTHORS file
