How to Watermark Photos

IP theft is rife in this industry. To protect from stealing credit to an image they need to be watermarked.

How is this done?
Is there an automatic way of doing it?

This makes watermarks in the browser

It seems, however that the js would need obfuscating so as to hide the original img source file
