Unable to apply Battery Optimisation on GMS

After a reboot, have you wait around 100 seconds before you open your lockscreen?
The script can't be executed that fast, it's kindly need time compared to other modules.

Yeah , the result is the same even after an hour..
I can't add the gms into deviceidle whitelist even after using that command manually..

( I also tried to clear gms data )

Try delete module
Reboot
And reinstall the module , the issue solved

Tried several times before writing this issue 😅

I guess goolag messed up something on November Security patch ..

Uninstalling and reinstalling the module fixed it for me (confirmed with gmsc terminal command).

Tried here,but same result,play services not optimized,uninstalled the old one and install this one,waiting more than 1 minut after boot

Android 14 should work, you need to wait (a little longer) after your phone rebooted.

Did you find root cause of android 15 not universally compatible with module?

Were logs really helpful? Or did google add protection to gms making it harder to patch it successfully

I had this issue. Downgrading KernalSU to the previous version (1.0.1) fixed it. I believe its an issue with the most recent version.

Looking at previously closed issues and what happened to my phone after getting this to work, I don't think its now advisable to run google services in optimimised mode anymore in recent versions of Android (you can but it breaks things and random apps will crash in the background).

KSU uses
/data/adb/ksu/bin/busybox
while the script is built for magisk that's one of the reason it's not working also, don't go through every xml, cause bindhosts is also in modules and the .xml file have thousands of entries. which slows it too damn slow.

Though I wasn't able to get it working just letting you know issues i faced.

Using find / -type f -name google.xml give me that results.

And ur module patched only this one from /product/etc/sysconfig/google.xml

Maybe problem is with this? If u want i can send you all xml files.
