“mkinitcpio -P” fails with “zstd: Broken pipe” in ghostty but works in gnome-console

Description

When running sudo mkinitcpio -P in ghostty, it fails at the kms hook with the error:

zstd: error 70 : Write error : cannot write block : Broken pipe

However, running the same command in gnome-console works perfectly fine without any errors.
